Guided Hunting Trips in Maine

At Allagash Guide Inc. we offer a full guided experience with your stay here at the home / lodge. All meals are provided and we try to limit the number of hunters at 4 / 6 to assure the attention necessary for a sucessful hunt.

Our home base is in wildlife zone 17 which offers some of the best deer habitat in Maine. Our main lodge and log camp are in zone 17, but we are only minutes from the big wooded commercial forest lands that hold huge bucks and majestic moose. Zone 17 is a mix of farmland and large tracts of woods that provide some of the highest concentrations of deer in Maine. We personally own hundreds of acres where deer are abundant .

We prefer to discuss costs based on numbers of hunters per week and the type of hunting experience desired. We do limit groups to 6 hunters and book on a Sunday to Saturday schedule.

Our Hunting packages for deer are usually from Sunday afternoon arrival to departure the following Sunday morning. You are required to purchase a Maine Big Game License in advance. Prices are available upon request.

Moose Hunting is a fully guided and prices will vary depending on the wildlife zones your permit is for. This price, available upon request, includes the permittee and the sub permittee for the week. Remote zones require using our large tents and camping out.    

We are in wildlife management zone 17, and 13 which houses one of the largest white- tailed deer populations in Maine. If you are interested in an "any deer" permit, which allows you to shoot an antlerless deer, this is the zone you must apply for. Small Game Hunting Snowshoe Hare/Woodcock/Grouse Ducks and Geese Turkey Hunting--We offer guided turkey hunting here at Allagash Guide Inc. We have had a very high rate of success with numerous fields and food areas that keep large numbers of turkeys on our land. Prices available upon request.
